A short local note for coordinators who have not shot here. Permits and legal stay with the film commissions. We mix the day.
Love Field vs DFW, and Empire Central pickup
Crew flying in: Love Field is closer to most Dallas stages and to our shop at 2043 Empire Central. DFW is the long-haul airport. Kit pickup and drop are at Empire Central unless we say otherwise. Production office suites in the same building are subject to availability — check leasing if you want the office next to the sound crew.
Stadiums and downtown RF
Cowboys, Rangers, AAC, downtown Dallas, and the usual convention rooms are crowded spectrum. We scan. Tell us the venue early if you need wireless lavs, IFB, or a Voice of God in those rooms. That is a coordination problem, not a “bring more mics” problem.
Permits
We are not your legal department. Start with the Texas Film Commission and the Dallas Film Commission for permits, incentives, and city rules.
